Zeppelin Systems started the year 2021 showing its responsibility and solidity in the world market with the acquisition of yet another company that is now part of the group: MTI Mischtechnik.

Despite already having Henschel mixers in their product range, both companies operated in different segments in the market, both in terms of focus and territorial coverage. For this reason, the old MTI team at Detmold will conduct future business under new direction.

With more than 1,500 employees in 22 locations worldwide, a Plant Engineering Strategic Business Unit specializes in the development and manufacture of components and plants for the handling (storage, transportation, mixing, dosing and weighing) of bulk materials high-quality.

It is these sectors that Zeppelin Plant Engineering offers its customers support from project development to engineering, production, automation, control technology, on-site assembly and commissioning to after-sales service. The customers of this business unit range from producers and processors of plastics and manufacturers in the rubber and tire, chemical and food industries.

Zeppelin Plant Engineering carries out various tests on industrial scale for these target groups at three technology centers in Germany.
