Application

The Pressure Vessel is used to transport highly abrasive products.

Its closed system meets the needs of environmental preservation.

It is also applicable to short, medium and long distances.

The pressue vessel offers high conveying capacities from short to long distances with continuous operation with double vessels.

Used to feed pneumatic transport lines,it generally operates in dense phase, but can be used in diluted phase if necessary, the pressure vessel is an equipment built to operate at higher pressures, in general above 7 bar.

Commercially it can be applied to pneumatic conveying lines with capacities up to 350m³/h (larger capacities on request) and transfer distances up to 3000m (longer distances on request).

Manufacturing

The pressure vessel is made of welded carbon steel plates, AISI 304, AISI 310 or AISI 316 stainless steel plates, or other material suitable for pressure vessel construction.

Valves and Components

It is equipped with several valves, instruments and components for its control and safety, among which the following stand out:

  • Filling valve;

  • Depressurization valve;

  • High and low level switches;

  • Safety valve;

  • Discharge valve;

  • Air control valves;

  • Pressure indicator;

  • Pressure transmitter;

  • Transport ejector;

  • Fluidizing ejector.

A dedicated control panel, operated by PLC controls all functions of the equipment.

Concept

Conceptually, it doses as much solid material as possible to the transport line while avoiding clogging the pipes due to excess dosed material.

It individually operates in batches, which means that when empty it receives material through the filling valve, up to the high level. After closing the isolation valves, pressurization begins and pneumatic transport begins. When emptying the transport is stopped, the line is depressurized and the filling valve opens for a new supply. With the pot full, a new cycle begins.

The system can also be configured in tandem with two or more vessels, in this case there is no interruption of transport, because when one vessel empties, the other vessel that is loaded starts dosing material to the line, while the first vessel is again loaded.
