Inside Zeppelin Systems LA’s values: it stands out: the respect to the sustainable development, aiming the harmony with the environment and the reduction of environment impacts due to its activity, social responsibility and the community’s social cultural development.
All important actions in the company are taken considering these values.
To certify this attitude, Zeppelin Systems LA to part in assessment from ECOVADIS in the Zeppelin Group in 2017.
Zeppelin Group achieved the Gold category from CSR rating ECOVADIS and had a great contribution from Zeppelin Systems LA.
EcoVadis has as an objective the development of social responsible practices of companies from its influence in the global supply chain. This is a collaborative platform that allows companies to monitor the performance in sustainable development from their suppliers, in 150 sectors and 110 countries. The tools also make the risk management easier and encourage the introduction of innovation in their global supply chain.
EcoVadis methodology of Enterprise Social responsibility assessment (RSE) assess the quality from the RSE management system of a company. Through its politics, and actions of result and implementation. The assessment consists of 21 questions, grouped in four themes (environment, human rights and labor practices, fair commercial practices and sustainable purchases). The 21 questions or criteria are based on RSE international Standards, like the principles from the global compact of the United Nations, the conventions from the International Labor Organization (ILO), the standard from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the standard ISO 26000, e the principles (CERES).
